We have reserved a block of 24 seats for Friday, May 17 at 5:30/6:00 pm for you to purchase for this evening out. The seats are in the Front Row of Section 2  (great seats, stairs involved).  Please contact Leslie ASAP by phone, text or email. Tickets are $58 per person for the dinner buffet and play. A server gratuity is not included in this ticket price. Additional beverages are at an extra cost.

Lifewise Update …  Community Kickoff Meeting: June 11 at Grace 7:00 p.m.

From Lauren Gleason … I would like to thank all of you who added your names to the list of supporters – we are up to about 150, and we couldn’t have proceeded to this meeting without you.  The purposes of this meeting are:
  1. To introduce and further explain the program to those unfamiliar with it
  2. To answer any questions you may have to the best of our abilities
  3. To recruit a few of you to help with next steps

We will be showing a video that lasts about half an hour to accomplish the first purpose.  Following that, we will have a representative from Lifewise on Zoom with us to help with the second, and I’m hoping some of you will prayerfully consider helping out with the third between now and April 11. Specifically, we need 2 or 3 people who would be willing to serve on a steering committee.  The function of this committee is to decide on how we would like the program to look for our school district (what grades to start with, when to start, etc) and to present the general plan to the school superintendent.

Of course we will have to leave many of the details to be worked out with the school officials, but we would like to have a skeleton of a plan to present.  We will have a coach from Lifewise to help us with all facets of this work from start to finish, and the program is basically plug-and-play complete with a curriculum, so we don’t have to start from scratch.  The commitment is relatively short-term, usually 2 to 6 months depending on how smoothly things go.If you think you may be willing to take that on, please let me know.  I hope to see manyof you at the meeting on April 11, and once again, thanks so much for your support.

Dayton Dragons Game Outing                      Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Game time 7:00 p.m.

We have 40 group seats located in section 115 & 116 that are on the 3rd base side of the field. Seats include one row of 8 and three rows of 10 in section 115 with 2 handicap accessible seats in section 116. We need to know as soon as possible if more handicap accessible seats will be required. To date, 36 people have signed up, so if you signed up and cannot attend June 11th game or you wish to get tickets, please contact Linda through the Church Office at 937-859-3941 or email hooghe.linda@yahoo.comme right away. Tickets are $13 each. Deadline for tickets sales is Sunday April 28th.

 

 
 
The sign-up sheet is finally back and food for the Sunday fellowship luncheons in March and April may need your help.  Please add your name and pitch in with a couple of other members to pick a Sunday and bring goodies for all to enjoy.
